Model
device behavior
Describe registers, interrupts, states and timed sequences as executable models. Compose versioned components and extend them with your own device functions through Rust.
VIRTUAL HARDWARE. AUTOMATED TESTS.
T2-LAB is a Rust-based test framework: model devices, run software in virtual environments and repeat tests reproducibly. Models, scenarios and results in one consistent workflow.
Local and CI/CD workflows. Cloud-based deployment tailored to your project.

01 / THE PRODUCT
T2-LAB brings device modelling and software testing together. Compose the components you need, define expected behavior and check changes through repeatable workflows.
Describe registers, interrupts, states and timed sequences as executable models. Compose versioned components and extend them with your own device functions through Rust.
Run applications in virtual Linux environments and test firmware against modelled interfaces. Target profiles and scenarios define the functions covered by a test.
Describe inputs, faults and resets in repeatable scenarios. Automate test runs through the CLI and integrate them into existing build and CI/CD workflows.
Inspect runs and logs in the T2-LAB dashboard, compare results and export JSON or JUnit reports. For central dashboards such as Grafana, we integrate result data into your data sources as part of your project.
DEVOPS & CLOUD-BASED DEPLOYMENT
Use T2-LAB in your development environment, automate tests in CI/CD or build a cloud-based test environment. We support integration with your infrastructure and existing dashboards.
Cloud, container, Kubernetes and Grafana integration is agreed per project.
02 / THE TECHNOLOGY
QEMU provides CPU and machine emulation. T2-LAB extends this foundation with device models written in Rust: registers, peripheral functions, interrupts and timed behavior. Together, they form the virtual hardware for your tests.
Configure components and a target profile, run a scenario and inspect the results. The Rust framework connects modelling, virtual execution and automated testing.
A synthetic Cortex-M3 test platform demonstrates selected device functions: GPIO, timers, interrupts and events on virtual time.
Cortex-M3 is one example. We model further device functions in Rust against their specifications and the required test coverage.
This example demonstrates selected functions, not full board emulation or physical timing equivalence.
